- I started my search for beauty amidst the rain on August 12, 2008, the day my husband, RD, had a serious accident that left him paralyzed with 40% of his body in 3rd degree burns. "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain." I am living a daily pursuit of finding beauty amidst the storm...and finding refuge in God when the hail hits.
